btrfs option during installation?
#1
Hello!  I'm really surprised that I seem to be the first person... ever... to use these forums.

I really like the Live OS of Ascend, but my /home partition is btrfs.  Is there a way I can add btrfs functionality to the SystemBack Installer?  I really don't want to backup over 300GiB and then transfer it back just because I'm stuck using Ext4.

Alternatively, is there a way I can install Ubuntu, Mint, Debian, etc and run a script or something to convert that distribution to AscendOS?  Sort of like running--

Code:
sudo apt-get install lubuntu-desktop
to convert regular Ubuntu to Lubuntu?

Thanks a lot!

Sorry for the late reply! Unfortunately, I don't have a way, yet, to install the Ascend Desktop into Ubuntu. I'll see what I can do about adding support for btrfs and a disk utility in RC2, and i'll post up once i'm succesful! Thanks for your interest!
Josh
